Peter Asare (aka Lyricaca) is a talented young Ghanaian Artist who was born on March 10, 1993. He lives in Abuakwa, Kumasi, Ghana, where he had his Basic Education. Due to his artistic beauty and expressive quality, his friends named him Lyricaca but his real name is PETER ASARE. He had his secondary education in Kumasi Academy where his talents were unveiled after 2 years of study in the Business class. Within the next 2 years in the secondary school, he offered Visual Art where he became familiar with almost all the art forms. He is now pursuing a 4-year BA in Graphic Design in the University of Education, Winneba (UEW).

Having the greatest fun as a child, he challenged his elder brothers in drawing cartoons at the age of nine. He is an artist who can work in all media but his intention is to complete his mastery in pencil drawing then move to pastels and colour pencils. Most works of Lyricaca is based on African subjects and themes. In a year and half in pencil portraiture, Lyricaca has great works which includes “Africa Covered”, “Exclusive Africana”, "El Cara Arrugada”, and many more.

Contact the artist via Keith McFarlane (Portraits Africa) at editor@negativeentropy.net who will provide an introduction. Artist and buyer are free to negotiate on both subject and price. While the artist has provided a guide-price or price indication, the first step in any commission is that artist and buyer agree the price, size, subject and materials of the composition and its delivery date. Portraits Africa will then request the agreed commission fee from the buyer, and on receipt of that fee will advise the artist to start work. The fee will not be released to the artist until the work has been completed and delivered to the buyer. Should a dispute arise between artist and buyer, it is Portraits Africa that will adjudicate. For the service prospectus, Terms & Conditions, see Commissioning a Portrait.
