Original Painting, Oil on Boxed Canvas,

I was inspired by the movement of the sea when I painted this painting. I remember hanging over the fence of a hanging bridge at the mouth of the Storms River where the river flows into the sea near Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, trying to capture the flow of the water with my camera. I love taking pictures and then turn them into paintings. This specific painting was one of three atmospheric seascapes selected to be published in “Internationale Kunst Heute 2015” (an international contemporary art book, launched in May 2015 in Munich, Germany).
