The Bluest Girl

The Bluest Girl

This young girl, after a photograph by Marc Sleen, is from Cameroon, West Africa. She watched him sketch her with a blue pencil. When he had finished, he thought she would ask for the sketch, but was surprisingly only interested in the pencil, and immediately adorned her ear with it, feeling very proud of her new "bling". And so she became to me: "The Bluest Girl”. Part of the series "The Tourist Corps”.
